HEC
(Hydroxyethylcellulose)
Introduction
This product is a non-ionic surfactant, white or white odorless tasteless flowable powder, 40 mesh sifting rate ≥ 99%; Softening temperature: 135-140 ℃; Apparent density: 0.35-0.61g / ml; Decomposition temperature: 205-210 ℃; hygroscopicity, balance of cold and dry volume: 23 ℃; 6% at 50% rh, 29% at 84% rh. Both soluble in cold water and hot water, in most cases, insoluble in most organic solvents. Viscosity in the range of 2-12 PH changes less, but beyond this range the viscosity will decrease. High temperature or boiling without precipitation, with a wide range of solubility and viscosity characteristics, that is, non-thermal gelation; with a wide range of other water-soluble polymers, surfactants, salts coexist with high concentrations of electrolyte solution An excellent colloidal thickener; water retention capacity than double the methyl cellulose, has better flow control; HEC protective colloid ability.
