Introduction

Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) is made from Acrylonitrile (AN), Butadiene (BD), and SM by emulsion and continuous polymerization.

Application

ABS is superior to PS in terms of impact resistance, tensile strength, brightness, and hardness. Due to its excellent processability, it is also used extensively for various applications such as in automobile interior parts, luggage, pipeline & valve materials, toys, and 3C products. Flame-retardant grade ABS is especially suitable for the plastic casing of IT products such as PC monitors, modems and scanners.
